It’s so hard to believe that tomorrow is Christmas Day!
I want to take a moment to wish everyone a Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa and a Happy New Year!
This time of year makes me reflect and be thankful for the life that I have. I want to send a special holiday message to our brave men and women of our military, first responders, teachers and law enforcement. You put our families before your own and we sincerely thank you for that sacrifice!
I also want to acknowledge the devoted and committed people in our criminal justice system. From the prosecutors/assistant district attorneys who actually attempt to seek justice despite the restrictive office policies, to the public defenders who fight tirelessly for their clients, I know you are all overworked and underpaid: Just know, you are appreciated . . .and this system, however imperfect, ceases to exists without your efforts.
So take a minute this holiday season to recharge, reflect and relax before returning to the office. Safe travels during the holiday season and I look forward to greeting you at an event in the new year. – Turahn #TJforDA #JusticeForAllNoExceptions
